Sequences is looking for a curator/curatorial team for Sequences X which will be held in October 2021.

Sequences Real Time Art Festival is looking for a curator or curatorial team that could bring a breath of fresh air to the festival whilst honoring the history and function of the festival as an artist-run initiative focusing on real time and time-based mediums. The new curator/curatorial team will organize every aspect of the festival, this includes a variety of projects such as creating the curatorial vision and theme, selecting the exhibiting artists, funding, production and creating a final report. The Sequences board members will be there within reach to guide and assist during the entire process.

The Application Process
The application must have a thorough and detailed description of the proposed idea for the Sequences Real Time Art Festival (1 page), résumé and a suggestion for time-and budgeting.

The completed application must be sent as 1 pdf file to sequences@sequences.is before midnight the 3rd of August 2020. The document must be 2GB or less.

The Sequences board members will go over all applications and reply them no later than 3rd of September 2020. The highest level of confidentiality will be maintained and the Sequences board reserves the right to search other applicants.
