Welcome to the publication launch and exhibition opening of Dunce Magazine at Y Gallery.

Dunce is published for the fourth time in connection with the Sequences Real-Time Art Festival. The launch of the magazine will be celebrated at Y gallery, where an exhibition of works by artists featured in the magazine will be opened. A special section is dedicated to the artists performing at Sequences.

Dunce is an artist-run magazine edited by choreographer Sóley Frostadóttir and designed by Helga Dögg Ólafsdóttir. Dunce lies at the border of visual art, dance and performance art. Many of the artists featured in the fourth issue of Dunce explore the concept of embodiment while also leaving space for the disembodied act of dreaming. The magazine is printed by visual artist Sigurður Atli Sigurðsson in risograph, offset and silkscreen in a limited edition.
