The beginning of the work can be traced back to 1901 when the Belted Kingfisher was first seen in Iceland. In recent years, this wanderer has been seen more frequently. The work is several layers that all force themselves or sneak into an exotic world. Not unlike when the postman slips the future through the slot in one’s door, the night before.
It appears to us, as a guest that creeps over boundaries and at the same time sheds light upon them. Boundaries are of various pulls and scope: Walls, distances, categories, types, analysis, time periods, substantial / sizeable differences …
Stuck between these boundaries is a man. He tries to make contact with the wanderer, but it seems to belong to a different medium. On top of that cats roam free.
