Pola Sutryk

Pola Sutryk is a chef, artist, and educator working with foraged ingredients and traditional home culinary methods. She transfers the aesthetic, ecological and sensory sensitivity she developed growing up in the wild region of eastern Poland into the area of culture and cuisine. Her main area of activity is cooking, defined as an encounter and process of energy transformation. A process carried out with respect for all parties – those who cook, those who eat and those who are eaten. Using food to create connections, she creates edible installations, workshops and multi-sensory experiences, while asking questions about our eating habits. Currently based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
