Matthías Rúnar Sigurðsson

Matthías Rúnar Sigurðsson (b. 1988) is a sculptor who carves his sculptures out of stone. He started stone carving in 2009 and has since made many sculptures and exhibited in places such as The Folk and Outsider Art Museum in Akureyri and The Reykjavik Art Museum. Since 2018 Matthías has been carving in the garden outside Ásmundarsalur.
