Emma creates spatial situations that border on sculpture and architecture.

“This part of this wall could be a thing. Maybe things are just parts that, as such, distinguish themselves from the whole. They are sufficiently cut-off from the whole in order for us to notice them. Is it important to consciously notice things all the time or is it sometimes better to allow the whole to seep into the subconscious? When I walk along a spread of flowers, do I notice a single flower or is the whole a symphony? No cutting necessary.” – Emma Heiðarsdóttir
