Installation and a artist book by Rebecca Erin Moran, 498 seconds. The time it takes for light to travel from the Sun to Reykjavík in October. A continuous line of hand painted emulsion flows through the book. The line lies dormant between the pages until the book is opened up and the light illuminates and activates the artwork. Made in an edition of 21. This artist book is based on an original artwork by the same name, produced by Moran for Sequences Real Time Art Festival in 2017. Originally exhibited at Kling & Bang, translated into book format by in volumes.
