Tamy Ben-Tor

Artist Tamy Ben-Tor was born in Israel and lives in New York City. Ben-Tor mainly works with video and performance. She has performed widely in theaters, performance festivals and clubs. She also performs in her much celebrated videoworks, acting out different characters based on well-known stereotypes. Though many of her works touch on inflammable issues and taboos, such as racism, the Holocaust, U.S. politics, terrorism and colonialism,they are entertaining and full of humor.
