Hanna Kristín Birgisdóttir graduated with a BA from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2014. Through her sculptures and performances, she works with actions, a substantiality which is reflected in a poetics of physical strength.
Her pieces are time-related. The boundaries of the body and surrondings disappear. Her pieces are often linked to nature and are preserved moments.
