Halldór Úlfarsson works with esthetics and sometimes deals with the problems connected to working with esthetics. Much of what he does is connected to the Halldorophone- An electro-acoustic instrument he’s been developing for a few years. Halldor is an Icelandic artists based in Helsinki, Finland where he did MA in fine art and design. Recently he has taught on behalf of the institutions from where he graduated. He was the first artist-in-residency at the newly established FAIR program at Fabrikken for Kunst og Design in Copenhagen (Sept. ‘08 – Feb. ‘09). He has exhibited and performed in galleries, museums and other venues in Iceland, Finland and around Europe.
